Presenting Dense Information...

This site demonstrates a number of dense information presentation tools and methods.
You'll observe the use of many "screen real estate" saving devices, such as icons, pop up tool tips, chicklets, buttons and pop up "helper" pages.
Whilst a good deal of the site pages and information is moderately static, much dynamic/interactive functionality is also presented in many instances.
The page you're reading is a good example.
Not only do you get the information presented here in text, but also the ability to post comments back about it and/or refer it to your friend(s) via email or in your (we)blog, if you have one.
The ability to include images is also valuable.
Supporting a variety of TCP/IP-based technologies and protocols enables maximum accessibility to information provided. Much of this site's contents are not only delivered by way of static HTML pages but also dynamically assembled HTML pages, RSS and ATOM (XML) newsfeeds and email subscriptions.
Additional devices such as tickers and scrollers also provide another ready means of immediate, selective deployment of and access to information.
Accessibility is a key consideration in all aspects of this site's design and thus search technology is a key facet of the diamond.
